Macbeth

I enjoyed Macbeth a lot. I thought the small theater worked well for that particular play. The setting and design of the stage really helped make it interesting. I thought (most of) the actors did a really good job since there was so much change and so few props throughout the play. I would like to see another production there.

This video is an example of a great band showing that they can be versatile. I encourage you check out a few of their other videos which are all so unique. Anyway, they have really grown in the past year or so. I think more people will like the sound of their newest album, Pretty. Odd.

***NEW BAND ALERT

I just heard of this band and thought I'd let you know. Sing It Loud has a poppy, fresh sound that makes you want to sing. Maybe that's where they got their name... Anyway, go listen and be prepared to give your heart away. You can find them on Purevolume. I have a link on this page.

Fast Times at Barrington High

You should definitely pick up a copy of the new CD by The Academy Is... I haven't had a chance to yet, but all sources say it is particularly wonderful. They created something different than what you would expect from them. Although they have been consistent, people still don't give them the recognition they deserve. Go support a great band, and comment here about what you think.

Getting Started...

So I want you to be aware I am working on this, but until I can come up with some news or important information, check out these bands. They are my favorites and for good reason. I hope you like them as much as I do. There's also a link on the record label graphics so you can find some bands that need more recognition. I hope to get a full listing up on this site soon.
